DEB ROFFE - CERTIFIED LIFE COACH & NURSE
Deb has worked in the health care profession for over thirty years. Following graduation in 1976 from Loretta Heights College in Denver with a BSN, she returned to her home in Cleveland, Ohio to begin her nursing career at the Cleveland Clinic. In 1978 Deb moved to Denver, Colorado and joined what has evolved into HCA-HealthOne System. Over her career, she has worked in almost every area of nursing and has had the opportunity to interact with a broad and varied spectrum of health care personnel. With these extended and varied experiences, Deb has first hand knowledge of the complexity of the health care environment.
FROM NURSE TO LIFE COACH
In recent years, due to a sense of frustration with her day to day life as a nurse, Deb became increasingly burned out with her nursing career. Although nurses have always been the linchpins of good patient care, it often seemed difficult for them to provide it in our increasingly complex healthcare system. There was no entity in place that allowed nurses to seek solutions for these frustrations. Consequently, because of her growing dissatisfaction, Deb began investigating Life Coaching and as a result, hired her own coach. Having been very satisfied and feeling extremely rewarded with the result, she decided to become a coach herself and received her training and certification at the Coach Training Institute based in San Rafael, California.
